| SigEp has many experiences you will not find in any other student organization on campus. Explore the ruins of Athens on the Quest to Greece, challenge your mind with a Faculty Fellow who has an office in your chapter, meet SigEps from other campuses, and learn how the Fraternity prepares you for life by attending the EDGE. From our award-winning Leadership Continuum to the philosophy behind Sound Mind and Sound Body, Sigma Phi Epsilon is “Building Balanced Leaders for the World’s Communities.” The first key to understanding life in a Greek letter organization is the sense of community. Not only do our brothers support each other in all of their endeavors, but you can expect to build great relationships with people from the other organizations on campus. Building these relationships is related to the total experience that one will gain from becoming a member of a fraternity. Life in Sigma Phi Epsilon transcends all narrow definitions of college life, and instead, is a total experience which includes academic, leadership, athletics, and social opportunities throughout a person's college career. UCSD has more to offer than just an education in the classroom. SigEp understands that there is more to life than books. Therefore, we offer unique opportunities for social involvement. Whether that be raising money for Junior Diabetes, participating in philanthropies, Sorority Exchanges, Parties, etc, lifelong friends will be a central part of the collegiate experience. It is the brotherhood of Sigma Phi Epsilon which creates these friends. Brotherhood binds men with different backgrounds, ideas, and beliefs in to a single, strong, and cohesive unit. All of these qualities offer the highest quality of living anywhere and create a sense of community not learned anywhere else. Most importantly though, these qualities build personality, character, and balanced men who will be successful in the future. Come out to our Rush Events and meet some SigEps. We hope that you will see that Sigma Phi Epsilon is truly what college was meant to be. |
